Well its actually no secret, but our Lady Lavender is one of our most talked about Mocktail features! So, we wanted you to be able to make it at home! But first, we need to make the most crucial ingredient, lavender simple syrup.
Lavender simple syrup is a versatile and delicious addition to any mocktail or cocktail. With its subtle floral flavor, it can add a unique twist to classic drinks like lemonade, iced tea, and even margaritas. This recipe is easy to make at home, and the syrup can be stored in the refrigerator for up to a month, so you can enjoy it anytime you want.
To make this lavender simple syrup, all you need is sugar, water, and dried lavender buds. Here’s a simple recipe to make lavender simple syrup at home:
Ingredients:
1 cup granulated sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons dried lavender buds
Instructions:
In a saucepan, combine the sugar, water, and dried lavender buds.
Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally to ensure that the sugar dissolves completely.
Reduce the heat to low and simmer the mixture for about 10-15 minutes, or until the syrup has thickened slightly and the lavender flavor has infused into the syrup.
Remove the saucepan from the heat and let the syrup cool to room temperature.
Once the syrup has cooled, strain it through a fine-mesh sieve or cheesecloth to remove the lavender buds.
Transfer the syrup to a clean jar or bottle and store it in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.
To make our Lady Lavender Mocktail follow these three steps!
Pour 3 oz of Ginger Beer in a glass with ice. We use Bundaberg!
Add 3oz of Blackberry Canada Dry
Stir in 1.5oz of Homemade Lavender Simple Syrup
Top with edible floral and serve!
